MISSION STATEMENT
The Minnesota Elk Breeders Association represents a unified voice that strengthens the elk farming industry in Minnesota by creating awareness about elk production and promotion and consumption of elk products.
ABOUT US
The Minnesota Elk Breeders Association was established in 1993 to be a central resource for education of animal husbandry to breeders, education to the general public of the great products elk produce and marketing.
The Association is dedicated to:
1. Promoting the unique and amazing qualities of the products elk
produce
2. Disseminating the most current information regarding herd health,
animal production, marketing and other important topics to the
membership
3. Representing members’ interests at the State Capital
4. Creating opportunities to gather together and share in our common
interests as we raise America’s Greatest Animal – Elk!
EVENTS
The association holds membership meetings twice per year.
MnEBA Annual Conference: The MnEBA Annual Conference is typically held the second weekend of January each year. It is a full day event comprised of the general membership meeting, followed by an afternoon of seminars, and evening banquet and fun auction.
Summer Meeting: – We meet again in July at a member’s farm or ranch, to catch up on the most recent news in the industry, enjoy friendship and camaraderie amongst producers and tour different farms around the state of Minnesota.
Other Events: The Association can also be found at different events throughout the state including the Minnesota State Fair, local schools, community events and shows.
