2 lbs. Elk, roast or steak, chunked
1 Tbsp. salt
1 cup celery, chunked
2 Tbsp. sugar
4 whole carrots, chunked
3 Tbsp. Minute Tapioca
3 medium potatoes, chunked
3 splashes Worcestershire sauce
1 onion, sliced
1 tsp. garlic powder
½ cup fresh bread crumbs
½ tsp. oregano and/or other preferred seasonings
1-20oz can diced tomatoes, can used seasoned
Do not pre-cook meat. Mix all ingredients together in crock pot. Cook on Low for 8-10 hours. Do not hurry stew or stir while cooking. Slow cooking is the key to it’s success.
Yields approximately 6 servings.
